REED DIFFUSER GUIDE

How to Use a Reed Diffuser

A reed diffuser is an easy way to add a continuous fragrance to your space without using electricity or an open flame. Follow these simple steps for the best fragrance experience.

Step 1 — Place

Remove the stopper, cap or seal from the diffuser bottle.

Place the bottle on a stable, level surface where it is unlikely to be knocked over.

For best fragrance distribution, choose a location with gentle air circulation.

Step 2 — Insert the Reeds

Place the reeds into the fragrance oil inside the bottle.

The reeds will gradually absorb the fragrance oil and carry it upward through the reed fibres.

Step 3 — Let the Fragrance Travel

Allow the reeds to naturally absorb and release the fragrance into the surrounding space.

The fragrance will gradually diffuse into the air, creating a continuous scent throughout your space.

Step 4 — Refresh the Fragrance

When you want to refresh or increase the fragrance intensity, carefully turn the reeds over so the saturated ends are exposed to the air.

You do not need to turn the reeds frequently. Turning them occasionally can help refresh the fragrance.

Wash your hands after handling fragrance oil.

How Many Reeds Should I Use?

The number of reeds can affect the fragrance intensity.

  • Fewer reeds: Softer and lighter fragrance
  • More reeds: Stronger fragrance and greater diffusion

Start with a moderate number of reeds and adjust according to the size of your space and your preferred fragrance intensity.

Where Should I Place My Reed Diffuser?

For the best performance, place your diffuser in an area where there is gentle air movement, such as:

  • Living rooms
  • Bedrooms
  • Offices
  • Reception areas
  • Shops
  • Entryways
  • Other indoor spaces

Avoid placing the diffuser directly under a fan, air conditioner or in an area with excessive airflow, as this may increase evaporation and reduce how long the fragrance lasts.

How to Make Your Reed Diffuser Last Longer

To help your diffuser last longer:

  • Keep it away from direct sunlight.
  • Keep it away from strong heat.
  • Avoid placing it near open flames.
  • Avoid excessive airflow.
  • Turn the reeds less frequently.
  • Use fewer reeds if you prefer a lighter fragrance.
  • Keep the bottle upright and securely positioned.

Room temperature, airflow, fragrance type and the number of reeds used can all affect diffuser longevity.

Safety Instructions

For safe use, please follow these precautions:

  • Do not ingest the fragrance oil.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
  • Wash your hands after handling fragrance oil.
  • Keep the diffuser away from children and pets.
  • Keep away from flames, sparks and excessive heat.
  • Do not place the diffuser on delicate or unprotected surfaces.
  • Place the diffuser where accidental spills will not damage furniture, fabrics or other surfaces.
  • Do not place the diffuser near food or beverages.
  • Use only for its intended purpose.

If fragrance oil is spilled, clean it promptly and carefully according to the material or surface affected.

Important Note

Fragrance intensity and diffuser longevity may vary depending on the size of the room, temperature, ventilation, airflow, number of reeds used and frequency of reed turning.

For the best experience, adjust the number of reeds according to your preferred fragrance intensity and the size of your space.
